I had the weirdest fucking dream last night. I was in the home I live in now, but my neighbor's house was the house where I used to live, although the neighbors weren't the same, but were a 30some father and his adolescent daughter, instead. My dad and I were looking out the kitchen window next door, and saw the girl and dad outside with their large, red goose. Goose. The people went inside, leaving the goose in the yard, and suddenly there was a huge snake that came up and ate the goose. Neither of us freaked out or anything, and then dad said, "Well, I guess I'll stop over there on my way to work to tell them what happened."

... Weirdness.

So I was reading this Snarry fic last night where they were talking about toasted cheese and I'm like, "Hm, what's toasted cheese?" envisioning - yeah, toasted cheese. I got on google and typed "toasted cheese" and found this awesome writing website! Toasted Cheese. Then I went on to do further research (lolz) and discovered that toasted cheese is basically (?) a grilled cheese sandwich. Mkay. Yum.

I meet with my writing group again tonight. Yay! Hope it goes well. We're not reading my stuff, yet. I think I'm third on the list. The story we started last time is a great YA story. This girl's a wonderful writer, plus she's really nice. Lol, my friend who put together the group...well, wait. Start over.

When I started writing Perfect (H/D), I was desperate for a beta, so I asked this friend of mine (this was a couple of years ago, remember). I told her about the story, and that it was going to be graphic H/D, and she gave me this wide-eyed WTF look that absolutely cracked me up. She wound up not reading it, although I did send her the first chapter just for kicks. Anyway, we started talking about the story while at the last meeting, so now they know I write H/D fanfic. :P None of them seemed quite sure what to make of that, making me laugh and blush. *shrug*
